A little something about the project
Each year, PSS holds a corporate event that paid appreciation and acknowledgement of all vendors an employees. The event consisted of hours devours, dinner, a speech, and awards. 2019 became the benchmark of the subsequent years with the creation of name tags, placement cards, seating chart, center pieces, and awards needed for the event.
Prior to the Cleveland baseball team, I had used the Guardians of Transportation as a beacon of what PSS stood for and strives to be. Heralding safety for all that share the road; ensuring that all make it home. I replaced the vehicle that the Guardians hold with our latest innovative product at the time and incorporated the award title at the bottom of the award, showing that the achievement of the few employees, we as a company can strive and achieve our goals. I had the awards printed in white on acrylic stands to help with durability and have the award always present.
The design was a favorite around the office and I was asked to develop a poster with the design for a new small conference room that was remodeled.
I wanted to pull elements from the posters design and incorporate them into other design elements around the poster along with adding a stone texture for the background since the original statues are made of stone.
The color scheme is indicative of the stone color and how it ages along with the complementary blue color for contrast and to have some elements pop.
