A little something about the project
Rover is a trailer that transports a machine that deploys and retrieves rumble strips. The manual I had created to accompany this device is 40 pages and included some original photography and illustrations I had created to help simplify the document. The illustrations are in two locations in the manual and include running through the process of mounting the trailer to the host vehicle and the process of how the machine works.
Originally, images were being used but I had simplified the process to minimal pieces of information to make the illustrations clear and down to what parts of the machine were relevant to the process at hand. This also included different lines for constant and flashing lights for the differing processes and the remote next to the device.
